Membership is required to participate in all Pf Senior programs and is open to all those 55 or older. 2019-2020 membership runs from October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020, and is not prorated. This membership does not include access to the walking track, pfitness room or game room in the Recreation Center.

Looking for a place to walk? Join the Recreation Center Walking Club and start walking with a group of dedicated walkers on the elevated track.
Recreation - In addition to the many senior-oriented paid recreational classes offered here at the Pflugerville
Recreation Center, Pf Senior members can participate in Line Dancing, Friday Hikes and Pfun Outdoors.
Pfree Transportation - Your Pf Senior membership covers all transportation on Pf Senior sponsored trips. Simply pay your own way while attending one of our trips and let us worry about the transportation costs!
Educational Seminars and Senior Technology Assistance - Each month the Pf Senior program hosts guest speakers to provide opportunities for our members to learn something new, ranging from health talks to a new hobby.
Social Events and Leisure Activities - Pf Senior members can take part in our Senior Luncheon, a monthly potluck lunch where members can stay informed on the happenings of the Pf Seniors program. Pf Seniors can also participate in one of our many leisure activities, ranging from cards and dominoes to senior movie days.
Senior Travel Program

The Pf Seniors program offers a variety of day and overnight trips throughout the year. Trips include food outings, Opry shows, festivals, museums, outdoor recreation, sporting events, and shopping trips.
All Pf Senior trips depart from the Recreation Center parking lot (400 Immanuel Road). Please arrive
15 minutes before the scheduled trip start time to ensure on time departure. Return times are estimations and may vary depending on traffic, weather or other factors.
Trip transportation is provided at no cost for Pf Senior members. Pf Senior members are responsible for paying for any additional expenses at destinations, so always bring cash, even on free trips.
Renowned dance instructor George Blaha is bringing his skills and expertise to the Pflugerville Rec Center. Come out and learn how to dance the Waltz, Swing, Foxtrot, Cha Cha and many more!
Beginner Chair Yoga
- Location: Rec Center Multi-Purpose Room
- Thursdays, 12 p.m.
- Fee: $3 per class or $25 for 10 classes
This class is feasible for all regardless of your mobility levels.
Meet every Friday at the Recreation Center at 8:45 a.m. and join other seniors as we hike through Pflugerville Parks and Trails.

Adults ages 55 and older learn a variety of steps to music from years gone by and today's contemporary hits.
Take in the sights of the great outdoors as you join other nature-oriented seniors on hiking, biking and outdoor recreation trips across Texas. For each month's trips, check out the Pfeature. Registration is available during monthly trip registration.
Cost: varies from $3-$7 for the entrance fee, bring $ for food.
Senior Sports & Pickleball
Pickleball is a low-net game, with a court size similar to tennis. The game is played in singles or doubles with a whiffle ball and paddle similar size to a ping-pong paddle.Thursdays, 3:30 - 5 p.m.
- Location: Rec Center Multi-Purpose Room
- Fridays at 10 a.m.
- Fee: $8 per class or $30 for a full month
For both beginning and continuing students, this fun class teaches the 24 movements of “Simplified Form” Tai Chi. A series of slow, continuous, relaxed and focused movements, Tai Chi will improve coordination, balance, flexibility, energy, and reduce stress. Instructor: Larry Bates
We are constantly adding new educational programs from senior organizations like AGE, Baylor Scott & White, AARP, Pflugerville Fire Department and more. Additional information will be posted on the senior bulletin board located in the senior room.

- $15 for AARP members/$20 for non-members
- Must bring Driver's License and AARP membership (if applicable)
