Membership is required to participate in all Pf Senior programs and is open to all those 55 or older. 2018 - 2019 membership runs from October 1, 2018 - September 30, 2019 and is not prorated. This membership does not include access to the walking track, pfitness room or game room in the Recreation Center.

Looking for a place to walk? Join the Recreation Center Walking Club and start walking with a group of dedicated walkers on the elevated track.
Recreation - In addition to the many senior-oriented paid recreational classes offered here at the Pflugerville
Recreation Center, Pf Senior members can participate in Line Dancing, Biking Club and Pfun Outdoors. Pf Senior members also enjoy full use of the Pflugerville Recreation Center on “Pfree Pfridays” every Friday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Pfree Transportation - Your Pf Senior membership covers all transportation on Pf Senior sponsored trips. Simply
pay your own way while attending one of our trips and let us worry about the transportation costs! All Pf Senior trips depart from the Pflugerville Recreation Center parking lot.
Educational Seminars and Senior Technology Assistance - Each month the Pf Senior program hosts guest speakers to provide opportunities for our members to learn something new, ranging from health talks to a new hobby. The Senior Programs Coordinator also teaches computer & smartphone classes located in the Pflugerville Recreation Center Senior Room.
Social Events and Leisure Activities - Pf Senior members can take part in our Senior Luncheon, a monthly potluck lunch where members can stay informed on the happenings of the Pf Seniors program. Pf Seniors can also participate in one of our many leisure activities, ranging from cards and dominoes to craft classes and senior movie days.
Senior Travel Program

The Pf Seniors program offers a variety of dayand overnight trips throughout the year. Trips include food outings, opry shows, festivals, museums, casinos, outdoor recreation, sporting events and shopping trips.

- Tuesday & Thursday, 1 p.m.
- Fee: $3 per class or $25 for 10 classes
Adult fitness - low impact - great for senior citizens, low mobility persons, adults with rehab or physical therapy issues. This exercise class will fill your needs.

- Thursdays, 11 a.m.
- Fee: $5 per class or $12 for a full month
Renowned dance instructor George Blaha is bringing his skills and expertise to the Pflugerville Rec Center. Come out and learn how to dance the Waltz, Swing, Foxtrot, Cha Cha and many more! Instructor: George Blaha

Line Dancing will teach you to dance, improve your balance, help you find the beat, improve your confidence and reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Not to mention it’s a ton of Pfun! Instructors: Connie Shell & Karen Steger

For both beginning and continuing students, this fun class teaches the 24 movements of “Simplified Form” Tai Chi. A series of slow, continuous, relaxed and focused movements, Tai Chi will improve coordination, balance, flexibility, energy, and reduce stress. Instructor: Larry Bates

Zumba takes the “work” out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Instructors: Lane Roberts & Aracely Alcocer

Explore Pflugerville trails on a bike! Stay active and engage with like-minded Pf Seniors. Bike rides average 4-8 miles over variable terrain. *Bikes are not provided*

PFREE with current SAC membership.
*Stay after 5 p.m. to play with the Recreation Center League until 8:30 p.m.! Recreation Center membership, Pickleball Pass, or Day Pass required.
Try something new and come out to play Pickleball with your pfellow PfSeniors! Pickleball is a low-net game, with a court size similar to tennis. The game is played in singles or doubles with a whiffle ball and paddle similar size to a ping-pong paddle.
Computer & Smartphone Assistance
1st & 3rd Wed., 10 - 11 a.m.
Question and answer style program where the senior programs coordinator will assist Pf Seniors to understand and better utilize their computers and smartphones. Computer space is limited.
Baylor Scott & White Health Talk
See the monthly insert for times and dates
Physicians from Baylor Scott & White will be speaking about health topics that affect senior citizens. Topics range from diabetes and arthritis to dementia and the effectiveness of lifestyle changes on blood pressure.
We are constantly adding new educational programs from senior organizations like AGE, Baylor Scott & White, AARP, Pflugerville Fire Department and more. Additional information will be posted on the senior bulletin board located in the senior room and in the monthly insert and at pfseniors.com.
