Out of school and looking for something to do? Come Pfieldtrippin' with us to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area!

Where: Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

What: Hiking, exploration and pfun

Cost: $20 Pflugerville residents/ $25 non-residents

At Enchanted Rock SNA, we will hike atop of this dome, as well as explore the abundance of trail systems it has to offer! This is for ages 6-12. We will be leaving Pflugerville Recreation Center at 8:30 am and returning back by 5 pm. Please bring proper shoes, water bottle, and lunch.

Youth Program Standards of Care

Annual Pfun Camps:

  • Spring Break Pfun Camp
  • Summer Pfun Camp
  • Winter Pfun Camp

Pick-up and drop off for all pfun camps are from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (extended drop-off hours 7:30 a.m. and pickup at 5:30 p.m.). Spring Break & Winter Pfun Camps pick up and drop off at the Pflugerville Recreation Center (400 Immanuel Rd.). Summer Pfun Camp pick up and drop off is at Gilleland Creek Park (700 Railroad Ave.).

Winter Pfun Camp

  • Wednesday, January 2 - Friday, January 4
    • Recreation Center, 400 Immanuel Road
    • Drop-off: 7:30-8:30 a.m.
    • Pick-up: 4:30-5:30 p.m.

    • $60 Residents
    • $135 Non-residents

What better way to start of 2019 than with Winter Pfun Camp?! Join us as we go on Pfield Trips, make crafts, play games and much more! This camp will be from Wednesday, January 2nd to Friday, January 4th. Drop-off will be at 7:30-8:30 and pick-up will be from 4:30-5:30. Both will be at the Pflugerville Recreation Center. Ages 6-12. Register now!

Spring Break Pfun Camp

Camp is during PfISD Spring Break and includes activities, games, pfun in local parks and field trips. Stay tuned for information about our 2019 camp.

Summer Pfun Camp 

Camp is nine week-long sessions. Activities include weekly field trips, active games, swimming, cookouts, arts and crafts, science projects, service projects at the Pfarmers Market and Animal Shelter, Visits to Lake Pflugerville and the Library and more outdoor pfun.

Times: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Extended drop-off hours 7:30 a.m. and pickup at 5:30 p.m)

Registration: Online and in-person. With the exception of the Spring Pfling, all registration is online or in-person starting at 8 a.m. 

Once on the ActiveNet page, login to your account and you will be able to make your payment online. A processing fee will apply. To avoid this fee, pay in person at the Recreation Center, located at 400 Immanuel Road.

  • $130/week for non-residents (Grades 1st - 6th) / Short week $104

Summer Pfun Camp Age Groups

  • Lemonheads: 1st and 2nd grades (5 year olds must have completed Kindergarten) 
  • Skittles: 3rd and 4th grades
  • Fireballs: 5th and 6th grades
  • Teens : 7th through 10th grades (no older than 15)

The Recreation Center hosts a variety of other specialized camps throughout the year, including film making camp, digital photography camp and dance camp. Check back for other 2019 Summer Camps. 

Youth Recreation Scholarship Program

This program is available to children and their families who meet certain income/residency requirements. Electronic applications and program guidelines can be found online on the Community Development Block Grant information page, or you can pick one up from the Recreation Center located at 400 Immanuel Road.

Complete the application and turn in to the Recreation Center front desk. Applicants will be notified by email listed on program application of their status.
