Fiscal Year 2016 Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan
Parks & Recreation Commission Fiscal Year 2016 Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan The Parks and Recreation Commission annually submits a five-year capital improvement plan to the City Council and City Manager that lists projects in order of priority with a year for construction of each project. The commission formally voted at the monthly meeting in May to submit these recommendations to City Council for approval.
Pflugerville Parks Master Plan
The Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan is a compliment to the Pflugerville 2030 Comprehensive Plan which was developed in unison and designed to be implemented to reach the Preferred Land Use Vision for Pflugerville.
Athletic Complex and Randig Tract Feasibility Study
In 2013, the city hired Halff Associates, Inc. to conduct an Athletic Complex and Randig Tract Feasibility study. Pflugerville currently owns and maintains 37 parks and open space areas. The study evaluated athletic needs and field use focusing on the needs for baseball, football, soccer, and softball.
Lake Pflugerville Master Plan
The city's master plan for Lake Pflugerville (PDF) was approved by City Council in June 2014.
Trails Master Plan and Parks Development Plan
The Trails Master Plan and Parks Development Plan provide an inventory and analysis of existing trails and parks in the city. Through the plan, an undeveloped parkland study was conducted to identify uses for 14 undeveloped parks in the city.
