Spring Break Pfun Camp

March 12 - 16, 2018

Activities include hiking, games, pfun in local parks and field trips

Time: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Extended drop-off hours 7:30 a.m. and pickup at 5:30 p.m)

Ages: 6-11 years old 

Cost: $110 for Pflugerville residents/$130 non-residents

Registration: Online and in-person starting 8 a.m. February 5, 2018

Summer Pfun Camp 

Camp is 10 week-long sessions. Activities include weekly field trips, active games, swimming, cookouts, arts and crafts, science projects, service projects at the Pfarmers Market and Animal Shelter, Visits to Lake Pflugerville and the Library and more outdoor pfun. 


  • First Week: June 11 - 15
  • Last Week:  August 13 - 17

Times: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Extended drop-off hours 7:30 a.m. and pickup at 5:30 p.m)

Registration: Online and in-person. With the exception of the Spring Pfling, all registration is online or in-person starting at 8 a.m. 

  • Saturday, March 24: early registration for residents in-person at the Spring Pfling (12 p.m. - 3 p.m.)
  • Monday, March 26: Residents only registration begins
  • Monday, April 2: Non-residents registration begins

  • $110/week for Pflugerville residents (Grades 1st - 6th) / Short week $88
  • $130/week for non-residents (Grades 1st - 6th) / Short week $104

Summer Pfun Camp Age Groups

  • Lemonheads: 1st and 2nd grades (5 year olds must have completed Kindergarten) 
  • Skittles: 3rd and 4th grades
  • Fireballs: 5th and 6th grades
  • Teens : 7th through 10th grades (no older than 15)

Film Making Camp

Ages: 9 to 15 years
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
$150 per person, per week, plus $10 supply fee

One week of daily lessons that teaches digital video filming, editing, and production techniques. It is designed to generate an interest in critical observation and communications by engaging students in film-making projects. During the camp students will learn on-air confidence and learn introductory video production skills. Students will complete a film as a group project - while learning the basics of the process - and will "premier" the film for the parents on the last day of class. RARE Learning will provide supporting materials such as the camera, lighting, and computer for the class.

Digital Photography Camp

Ages: 9 to 15 years
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
$150 per person, per week, plus $10 supply fee

One week of daily lessons part of a specialized program that will introduce students to the art of photography. Students will have the opportunity to learn about introductory aspects of digital photography including composition, lighting a subject, use of lenses, and digital editing. They will have the chance to express their creativity by learning to take good photos - something that is commonly used in social media and professional life. Students need to bring a digital camera to class.

Youth Recreation Scholarship Program

This program is available to children and their families who meet certain income/residency requirements. Electronic applications and program guidelines can be found online on the Community Development Block Grant information page, or you can pick one up from the Recreation Center located at 400 Immanuel Road.

Complete the application and turn in to the Recreation Center front desk. Applicants will be notified by email listed on program application of their status.
