Summer Pfun Camp 

Choose from 10 weeks of camp 

  • First Week: Begins Monday, June 5
  • Camp Ends:  Friday, August 11
  • Times: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Extended drop-off hours 7:30 a.m. and pickup at 5:30 p.m)
  • Register - Both registration dates begin at 8 a.m. online* and in-person:
    • Monday, March 27 for residents inside the legal city limits

Once on the ActiveNet page, login to your account and you will be able to make your payment online. A processing fee will apply. To avoid this fee, pay in person at the Recreation Center, located at 400 Immanuel Road.


  • $110/week for Pflugerville Residents (Grades 1st - 6th) / Short week $88
  • $130/week for Non-Residents (Grades 1st - 6th) / Short week $104
  • $130/week for Residents for Teen Camp / Short week $104
  • $150/week for Non-Residents for Teen Camp / Short week $120

Lemonhead Campers Summer Pfun Camp Age Groups

Note: Groups are determined by what grade your child will be entering in the Fall.

  • Lemonheads : 1st - 2nd grade (must be six years old and completed Kindergarten)
  • Skittles : 3rd - 4th grade
  • Fireballs: 5th - 6th grade
  • Teens : Ages 12 - 15 (must be 12 years old and entering 7th grade before camp starts)

  • Week 1 - Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary
  • Week 2 - LH and SK: Dino Park / FB and TN: Blazer Tag 
  • Week 3 -Gattiland
  • Week 4 - Inner Space Caverns
  • Week 5 - LH: Movies, SK, FB, and TN: Peter Pan Golf (Note: 4-day week/holiday)
  • Week 6 -Bob Bullock Museum
  • Week 7 - LH and SK: The Thinkery / FB and TN: Typhoon Texas
  • Week 8 - LH and SK: Jump Street / FB and TN: Spare Time Bowling
  • Week 9 - Chaparrel Ice
  • Week 10 - Reunion Ranch


Film Making Camp

Ages: 9 to 15 years
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
$150 per person, per week, plus $10 supply fee

  • August 14 - 18

One week of daily lessons that teaches digital video filming, editing, and production techniques. It is designed to generate an interest in critical observation and communications by engaging students in film-making projects. During the camp students will learn on-air confidence and learn introductory video production skills. Students will complete a film as a group project - while learning the basics of the process - and will "premier" the film for the parents on the last day of class. RARE Learning will provide supporting materials such as the camera, lighting, and computer for the class.

Digital Photography Camp

Ages: 9 to 15 years
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
$150 per person, per week, plus $10 supply fee

  • July 17 - 21
  • August 7 - 11

One week of daily lessons part of a specialized program that will introduce students to the art of photography. Students will have the opportunity to learn about introductory aspects of digital photography including composition, lighting a subject, use of lenses, and digital editing. They will have the chance to express their creativity by learning to take good photos - something that is commonly used in social media and professional life. Students need to bring a digital camera to class.

Youth Recreation Scholarship Program

This program is available to children and their families who meet certain income/residency requirements. Electronic applications and program guidelines can be found online on the Community Development Block Grant information page, or you can pick one up from the Recreation Center located at 400 Immanuel Road.

Complete the application and turn in to the Recreation Center front desk. Applicants will be notified by email listed on program application of their status.
