Camp and program scholarships offered to qualified students
The city offers summer camp scholarships to children 18 years and younger who live within the Pflugerville city limits. Scholarships for Pflugerville summer camps and classes at the Pflugerville Recreation Center are available to families who are enrolled in the Pflugerville Independent School District’s free and reduced meals program, or meet certain income requirements. Space is limited, so turn in your application today.
Funds come to the city through a special Community Development Block Grant received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which is to benefit low-income families. The grant covers 80% of program costs per child up to $200, while parents pay 20%. Camp fees vary by age group, visit parks.pflugervilletx.gov/camps. In addition to camp, participants may use scholarship for swim lessons and other programs offered at the center.
