Post Date:05/11/2018 11:43 a.m.
1849 Park Playground InformationAt Tuesday’s City Council meeting, $300,374 was approved for two playgrounds for 1849 Park located at 16430 Cameron Road. Two playgrounds will be built near the football and multipurpose sports fields with equipment including various gross and fine motor skill-based activities such as climbing, spinning, and balance-based play opportunities.

The purchase includes the installation of playgrounds, fall zone material, and play area drainage material. The playground includes a barn and country-style design in line with the 1849 Park features. Slides, swings and climbing features are all part of the playground.

The playground is one of several new playgrounds coming to the city. The Pfluger Park playground is under construction and anticipated to be complete by May 18, and the Stone Hill Park Playground will be open this summer.

Some shots of the upcoming playground renderings and video of the new playground at Pfluger Park are featured in this week's Pflugerville Pfocus. Check it out.
